Voltage Transient
In a 3nm flip-chip design, dynamic IR drop analysis shows a severe localized voltage droop of 100mV near a heavily utilized ALU cluster during peak operation. The VDD grid is already at maximum density. What is the most standard physical design mechanism to supply instantaneous current to this localized region and smooth the voltage transient?
